About Us

Sandwich is a historic town and civil parish on the River Stour in the Non-metropolitan district of Dover, within the ceremonial county ofKent, south-east England. It has a population of 6,800.

 SDAA Club History

The association was founded over 60 years ago with a constitutional rule to promote angling in Sandwich and the surrounding area.  Originally looking after the Reed Ponds we also used to have a thriving Sea fishing section.  We were responsible for the design and creation of Swallowbrook Lake back in 1992, the work of a few turning a green-field site into a gem of a Fishery for us all to enjoy.

The Association Committee
